VOLUNTEERS
Ministry doesn’t only happen on stage.
Thank you so much for your interest in becoming a 2019 Uprising Volunteer. We would love to serve with you!
Serve, Inspire, Lead and Change… these are the core values of the Uprising Festival. Every volunteer is an important part of making the festival happen, and should come with a heart that is dedicated to these values. No matter the area in which you volunteer, you are making an impact on the festival attendees daily.
It takes about 250 volunteers to make the festival successful each summer. It’s very much a microcosm of the body of Christ. Many return each year not just because they had fun at the concerts, but also because they had a blast serving! We come together from many different states, denominations, countries, cultures, and backgrounds to serve those who attend. Yep…that’s the goal: love God by serving others!
-
Tell your youth leader to make it a ministry outreach for your group…
-
Make it a time to serve together as a family…
-
Serve with a friend to meet others who are part of this amazing body of believers…
Whichever fits best, we’d love to serve alongside you. Join us at The Uprising Festival 2018!

Frequently asked questions
When is the Volunteer Application Deadline?
The Vollunteer Deadline is August 15th, or sooner if all positions fill prior to the dealine.
How old must I be to Volunteer?
You need to be the age of 14 BEFORE the Festival Starts.
My Sister is 12, can she hang out with us while we serve?
For the safety of the Volunteer, the young person, and our attendees, we do not allow persons under the age of 14 to serve as a volunteer. We also cannot allow non-volunteers to 'hang out' with those are working. For young ones, our suggestion would be to serve differnt shifts with someone you trust (other parent, other friend, or other sibling), so they are with your child if you desire to serve. If you cannot find someone, please do not sign up.
What kind of identification is required at check in?
You must provide a valid, government issued ID if you are 18 or older. If you are 17 years old and under, a school ID or another ID with your photo will work, provided your parent or guardian accompanies you to check-in.
Do you provide Food, Sleeping Accomodations and / or Transportation for volunteers?
Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation to and from the festival, as well as their own food, tent, and sleeping equipment. There are some food vendors on-site during the festival if you don't desire to make/bring your own food. Costs for these vendors is typical to prices that you would find at the State Fair. Some find it less expensive to bring or prepare your own food. For staple goods, we also have a small grocery store onsite.
